The Challenge:
When my clients put their house on the market in 2013 they got a low offer and a contract that eventually fell through. They knew they had to do something different. So in 2014, they hired me to whip their house into shape, hoping for a quick sale and top dollar offer. Working within their budget, I went to work. First, I removed most of the furniture and art, keeping only a few select pieces for staging. Next, I had the entire house cleaned from top to bottom—including carpets, floors and tile—and gave it a fresh coat of paint. The home was transformed into a clean, simple living space enlivened with fresh new colors and additional pieces of art and d├ęcor to accent the new palette.

The Result:
My clients received two offers on their home within 12 hours of it being listed. The accepted offer was $6,000 over the asking price.
